“HOPE” IS UNDERLYING THEME OF

 MAYOR’S EVENTS FOR WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH

7:30 a.m.--- Hope:  Part of Hartford’s history and future!  Mayor Perez will address the annual Hartford Prayer Breakfast in the Rentschler Field Club Room off of Silver Lane in East Hartford.  The Mayor will discuss how the City of Hope and Opportunity is living up to its historic roots with its residents each and every day.

 

 

11:30 a.m.--- Breaking bread in honor of The House of Bread!  Mayor Perez will thank as many as 300 people who have donated to the House of Bread and make reference to the organization’s contribution of hope to the City.  Local restaurants donated soup and bread for this banquet that will be held at the Urban Center at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church at 285 Church Street in Downtown Hartford.

 

 

6:30 p.m.--- Strong families provide hope for children!  Mayor Perez will give thanks to all the adoptive parents expressing the importance of providing hope and opportunity to Hartford’s youth.  This is all part of “DCF Celebrates Adoption Month.”  The event will take place at the Artists Collective, 1200 Albany Avenue in the City’s Upper Albany neighborhood.
