Property values in Hartford have increased--- in some cases even doubled!  That means more people are investing in the Capital City and all the neighborhoods are becoming more vibrant.  However, this recent increase in assessment does not mean a significant increase in property taxes.  This will be the topic of a live discussion that will air on Hartford Government Cable Access Channel 21 live at 10:00 a.m.

 

The specific property tax increase (starting in July) will be determined when City Council passes the budget this spring.  Prior to that, Mayor Perez will be working hard with State Lawmakers to fight for a permanent tax solution for Hartford residents.
