1:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will tour the new construction and renovations at Noah Webster Microsociety Magnet School.  This is where school children from Hartford and the region create their own society, complete with government, courts, banking etc.  The school is located at the corner of Cone and Whitney Streets in Hartford’s West End.

 

6:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez puts something special on his Holiday Wish List!  The Mayor, along with other dignitaries will sing “The 12 Days of Christmas.”  This annual event takes place at the Hartford Stage in Downtown Hartford. 

 

8:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez congratulates participants in the Neighborhood Monitor Program!  About 30 members of the Blue Hills Civic Association will be receiving certificates for being so strongly involved in their community, and thus more empowered.  The Neighborhood Monitor Program involves learning from experts in Licenses and Inspection, Department of Public Works, and other City departments, on what is a code violation and how it should be reported.  The ceremony takes place at the Oak Hill School Auditorium, 120 Holcomb Street.
