MAYOR PEREZ’S SCHEDULED EVENTS

Friday

9:30 a.m.--- Mayor Eddie Perez will host a brief ceremony announcing that CL&P will provide almost $2 million in support to four Hartford agencies that focus on housing and homeownership.  This event will take place in City Council Chambers, on the second floor of City Hall, 550 Main Street in Downtown Hartford.  The news conference will also air live on Hartford Government Cable Access Channel 21.

3:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will team up with the International Alliance for the Development of Latin America and the Alcalde Ciudad de Esperanza Provincia Valverde, Republica Dominicana for a Parranda.  This musical celebration will take place at 80 Charter Oak Avenue in the City’s Sheldon-Charter Oak neighborhood.

4:00 p.m.--- The Parranda continues at El Mercado on Park Street in Hartford’s Frog Hollow neighborhood.

5:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez takes the Parranda festivities to the Tuscan Homes Holiday Celebration, 66 Montville Street in the City’s Northeast neighborhood.

6:30 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will ring in the Holiday Spirit at the Salvation Army Holiday Celebration.  Good tidings will be shared at the Nelson Street location, also in the Northeast neighborhood.

Saturday

2:30 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will talk about the importance of family at the Mi Casa Annual Youth and Family Holiday Celebration.  The Mi Casa Community Center is located at 590 Park Street in the Frog Hollow neighborhood.
