NEWS RELEASE HPD VICE AND NARCOTICS DIVISION CONDUCT UNDERCOVER DETAIL TARGETING STREET LEVEL PROSTITUTION IN ASYLUM HILL NEIGHBORHOOD. (Hartford) - In continuing to address complaints regarding prostitution activity from area residents in Hartford's Asylum Hill neighborhood, detectives from the HPD's Vice and Narcotics Division conducted an undercover detail targeting street level prostitution in Asylum Hill on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at approximately 19:00 hours. As a result of the undercover detail, six female were arrested and charged with Prostitution and one male arrested and charged with Prostitution. Outstanding warrants were also served during the operation. Arrested and charged with prostitution were: Rocksann Rivera, DOB 2/18/75, of 274
Farmington Avenue, Hartford. Bond $10,000. Arrested and charged with Interfering with Police was Brad Drunnamanio, AKA Charles Hanson, DOB 10/27/66, of 274 Farmington Avenue, Hartford. Drunnamanio was released on a Written Promise to Appear (WPTA) in Hartford Superior Court. Arrested and charged with Breach of Peace, Second Degree, was Valerie Rollins, DOB 4/19/65, of 110 Newfield Avenue, Hartford. Rollins was also released on a WPTA in Hartford Superior Court. In commenting on the continued Vice suppression activity by the Hartford Police Department in the Asylum Hill area, Chief Patrick J. Harnett said, "Individuals seeking to promote or patronize illegal vice or narcotic activity in our neighborhoods should be on notice that the Hartford will continue our relentless enforcement activity and they will ultimately be arrested and charged."
