NEWS RELEASE HARTFORD POLICE SEEK SUSPECTS IN CONVENIENCE STORE SHOOTING. (Hartford) - The HPD Major Crimes Division today continued their investigation into the late Monday night shooting incident at the U-Stop Convenience Store on Barbour Street in Hartford. Late Monday, approximately three minutes before midnight, HPD patrol units responded to a report of a shooting incident at 89 Barbour Street. Upon arrival officers observed evidence of a shooting incident at the store. Shortly thereafter, police received a report of victims with gunshot wounds arriving at St. Francis Hospital for treatment. Both victims, who sustained non-life threatening injuries, reported entering the store when a white Chevy Lumina vehicle passed by and discharged multiple shots into the store striking both victims. HPD Major Crimes Detectives seized a video tape from the crime scene and are reviewing this evidence as part of the investigation. Hartford Police are looking for a white Chevy Lumina vehicle with tinted windows.
