HARTFORD POLICE IDENTIFY SUSPECT WANTED IN STREET ROBBERY.

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have identified Willie James Coleman, Jr., DOB 11/23/1980, of 489 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, as a suspect in an August 17th street robbery that occurred in the area of 680 Park Street, Hartford.

Coleman, age 25, is described as a black male, 5'6", 175 lbs, with brown hair and eyes, was last seen operating a small red colored vehicle.  Hartford police have obtained an arrest warrant charging Coleman with Robbery in the Second Degree, Assault in the Third Degree and Threatening.  A judge of the Superior Court has set Coleman's bond at $10,000.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Willie James Coleman, Jr., is asked to contact HPD Major Crimes Detectives John Koch or Danny Mui at 527-6300, extension 5266.  Confidential information may be left on Detective Koch's and Mui's voice mail.
