HARTFORD POLICE MAKE ARREST IN INVESTIGATION OF DCF EMPLOYEE.

(Hartford) - At approximately 2:00 p.m. today Valerie M. Miles, of 53 Dogwood Road, Plainville, Connecticut, an employee of the State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF), turned herself in to Hartford Police following a two month investigation conducted by the HPD's Juvenile Investigative Division of a May 27, 2005 risk of injury incident at 296 Hudson Street, Hartford.

Miles was charged with two counts of fabricating physical evidence and one count of tampering with a witness.  Bond was set at $10,000 pending an August 11th, 2005 court date.
