HARTFORD POLICE TO CONDUCT DUI CHECKPOINTS IN THE 500 BLOCK AREA OF FRANKLIN AVENUE.

(Hartford) - On Sunday, July 3, 2005, beginning at 6:00 p.m. through 2:00 a.m. Monday, July 4, 2005, the HPD Traffic Division will conduct a DUI/motor vehicle safety checkpoint in the area of 1680 Albany Avenue, Hartford. 

The checkpoint is part of the 2005 Memorial Day/July 4th holiday DUI Enforcement Program sponsored by the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation.
