HARTFORD POLICE TO CONDUCT DUI CHECKPOINT

(Hartford) - On Friday, December 2, 2005, from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. the Hartford Police Department will conduct a DUI/Motor Vehicle Safety Checkpoint in the area of Broad Street between Farmington and Capitol Avenues in Hartford.  The checkpoint is being conducted as part of the HPD's holiday DUI/Motor Vehicle Safety enforcement program, funded under a State of Connecticut Department of Transportation grant.

The Hartford Police Department asks holiday travelers to not to drink and drive, buckle-up and drive safely.
