HARTFORD POLICE TO CONDUCT DUI CHECKPOINT

(Hartford) - On Friday, December 23, 2005, from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. the Hartford Police Department will conduct a DUI/Motor Vehicle Safety Checkpoint in the 2000 block area of Main Street at Pavilion Street in Hartford.  The checkpoint is part of the HPD's holiday DUI/Motor Vehicle Safety enforcement program funded under a State of Connecticut Department of Transportation grant.

The Hartford Police Department asks holiday travelers to not drink and drive, to buckle-up and to drive safely.
