HARTFORD POLICE SEEK SUSPECT IN ASSAULT AND KIDNAPPING OF SIX YEAR OLD GIRL.


(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Juvenile Investigative Division (JID) have secured an arrest warrant for Jamie Hoy, DOB 4/2/1976, of 1 Lawrence Street, Hartford, in connection with a serious assault of a six year old female that caused her to have her left arm amputated.

Hoy, AKA "Scar Face" - due to the scar which runs across the right side of his face, is described as 6'2", 170 lbs, brown hair and eyes, is thought by Hartford Police to be armed and extremely dangerous, and to have possibly shaved his head since the photo below.

Hoy is charged with two counts of kidnapping with a firearms in the first degree, one count of assault in the first degree, reckless endangerment first, risk of injury to a minor and assault third.  A Hartford Superior Court Judge has set bond at $500,000. 

Hoy is also wanted by HPD on two outstanding failure to appear warrants for assault on police and larceny in the first degree, and wanted by New Britain and West Hartford Police on unrelated cases.
