HARTFORD POLICE LOCATE TWO MISSING PERSONS.

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Juvenile Investigative Division (JID) have confirmed that they have located two missing young women, Quanysha Banks and Jasmine Christian.  Both were recovered in good health on Tuesday, June 7, 2005.

On Monday, June 6th, 2005, Hartford Police had issued missing persons alerts for Banks and Christian, which resulted in the HPD receiving numerous tips and information from the public as to their whereabouts.  Lieutenant James Bernier, Commander of the HPD's Juvenile Investigative Division said  "Both these recoveries are due to the excellent assistance and cooperation by the media in getting the missing person information out to the public, the public in providing information to police as to the possible whereabouts of these young women, and to our detectives for their swift response to that information.  It is through this type of police/community collaboration that we see successful outcomes as in this case."
