HARTFORD POLICE IDENTIFY SUSPECT IN APRIL 2005 ZION STREET KIDNAPPING AND ROBBERY.

 

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have identified Jose Morales, DOB 10/31/78, of 554 Zion Street, Hartford, as a suspect in a  robbery and kidnapping that occurred at 459 Zion Street on April 28, 2005.

An arrest warrant has been secured by Hartford Police charging Morales with robbery in the first degree, two counts of kidnapping in the first degree, sexual assault in the third degree, conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, two counts of conspiracy to kidnap in the first degree and carrying a pistol without a permit.  Morales' bond is set at $100,000.

Morales, described as an Hispanic male, 5'8", 120 lbs, with brown hair and eyes, and dark complexion, is believed to be in possession of a handgun type firearm and considered armed and dangerous by police.  Anyone coming in contact with Morales is asked to contact Hartford Police Major Crimes Detective John Koch or Officer Danny Mui at 527-6300, extension 5266, or call the HPD's confidential tip hotline (860) 525-GUNS..
