CITY OF HARTFORD ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER.

(Hartford) - The City of Hartford is now accepting applications for the position of Police Officer for a class scheduled to begin in the Summer of 2005.  Inquiries bout the recruitment effort and requests for applications should be directed to Godfred Ansah, Personnel Analyst, City of Hartford Personnel Department, (860) 5220-4888, extension 8590.  Or interested candidates can visit the Hartford Police Department webpage, www.hartford.gov/police, where you will find links to the Hartford Police Academy webpage and application and requirement information.  The application deadline for consideration for this class is February 25, 2005.

Applications can be filled out on-line, then downloaded and mailed to the City of Hartford Personnel Department, 550 Main Street, Hartford, Connecticut, 06103, with a Twenty-Five ($25.00) dollar application fee made payable to the City of Hartford.
