HARTFORD POLICE LOOKING FOR BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT.

(Hartford) - At approximately 1:00 p.m. today the Sovereign Bank located at 568 Franklin Avenue in Hartford was robbed of an unknown amount of money.  The suspect, who implied he was armed with a gun, is described as a lone black male, 5'6", possibly in his 20's, was last seen fleeing the scene on foot.  No injuries were reported.

Hartford Police are asking anyone with information about the incident or suspect that could assist in the  investigation to contact Major Crimes Detective Mark Fowler at (860) 527-6300, extension 5439.  Anonymous tips may also be left on Detective Fowler's voice mail.
