HARTFORD POLICE FILE CHARGES
ON SUSPECTS FROM INCIDENT INVOLVING RAMMING OF POLICE VEHICLE.
(Hartford) - Two suspects wanted by Hartford Police in
connection with an incident that occurred on Saturday, May 14, 2005 wherein
police passengers of a white Chevrolet Lumina reported to have fired
shots from their vehicle and then rammed a marked Hartford Police cruiser
have been arrested and charged with the following:

Jorge Torres, DOB 12/27/83 of 40 School Street, East
Hartford was charged with disobeying a police officer, possession of
narcotics, operating a drug factory, assault in the first degree, reckless
endangerment in the first degree, reckless driving, injury and risk of
injury to a minor, operating a motor vehicle without a license, theft of a
license plate, operating under suspension, failure to renew registration,
operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to grant right of way
to an emergency vehicle, racing, and allowing a person under sixteen to
drive a motor vehicle. Torres' bond was set a more than $1 million.

Angel Arroyo, (AKA Daniel Gonzalez) DOB 10/21/85, of 665
Garden Street, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of a
controlled substance, and possession of drugs by a non-student within 1,500
feet of a school. Arroyo's bond was set at $100,000.
