U.S. ATTORNEY'S OFFICE CELEBRATES
SEVENTH ANNUAL
UNITED STATES ATTORNEY'S AWARDS

United States Attorney Kevin J. O'Connor today announced that on June 14, 2004, the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Connecticut hosted the Seventh Annual United States Attorney's Awards. Yesterday's ceremony at the Shubert Theater in New Haven celebrated several significant federal prosecutions that have occurred in the last year and honored the more than 140 members of federal, state and local law enforcement whose extraordinary investigative contributions made these prosecutions possible.

"We take great pleasure in honoring the men and women of law enforcement who have contributed so significantly to the many successes that this Office has achieved in the past year," U.S. Attorney O'Connor stated. "On behalf of all of us in the U.S. Attorney's Office, we congratulate each award winner for their dedication and devotion to the cause of justice."

The awards presentation booklet, which includes the names of the award winners and narratives of the cases in which they were involved, is available on our Office's web site at www.usdoj.gov/usao/ct.
