HARTFORD POLICE RELEASE PHOTOS OF SUSPECT IN CONNECTICUT STATE EMPLOYEES CREDIT UNION ROBBERY.

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have secured still photo images of the suspect in connection with the Friday, July 29th, 2005 robbery of the Connecticut State Employees Credit Union at 84 Wadsworth Street in Hartford.  At approximately 2:00 p.m. a lone male entered the credit union, standing in line to wait for an available teller.  Once at the counter, the robber implied having a handgun, reached over the counter and snatched an undetermined amount of U.S. Currency.  It is believed the robber has frequented the credit union in the past.

The suspect is described as a male, black, tall, wearing a black base ball cap, white T-shirt with black print on front.  Below are three photos, one close-up and two links to photos of the suspect standing in line waiting for a teller and during the robbery.

Hartford Police are asking anyone, particularly any State Employees and/or witnesses, who may have been at the scene, or anyone who may have information as to the identity and whereabouts of this suspect to contact HPD Major Crimes Detective Andrew Jacobson at (860) 527-6300, extension 5436, or contact the HPD's confidential tip hotline (860) 525-GUNS.
