HARTFORD POLICE IDENTIFY SUSPECT IN GARDEN STREET SHOOTING.

(Hartford) - Steven Williams, DOB 3/13/86, AKA "Little Steven", LKA 136 Nelton Court, Hartford, has been identified by Hartford Police Department Major Crimes Detectives as the suspect in the May 15, 2005, shooting in front of 618 Garden Street, Hartford.

Williams, described as a Black Male, 5'5", approximately 130 lbs, with black hair and dark brown eyes, is considered armed and dangerous.  The weapon in the shooting has not been recovered.  Williams is facing charges that include assault in the first, carrying a pistol without a permit, and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

Hartford Police are asking anyone with information about Williams or his whereabouts to contact HPD Major Crimes Detective Andrew Jacobson at 527-6300, extension 5436, or the HPD confidential tip hotline, (860) 525-GUNS.
