THOMAS YOUNG WANTED BY HARTFORD POLICE IN CONNECTION WITH STREET ROBBERIES.

(Hartford) - Thomas Young, DOB 6/3/65, last known address of 20 Cleveland Avenue, Hartford, Connecticut, is wanted by Hartford Police in connection with a purse snatching which occurred on November 9th at 114 Woodland Street, and a street robbery on the same date which occurred at 25 Prospect Street, Hartford.  Young has also been known to reside at 21 Downey Drive, Unit B, in Manchester, Connecticut. 

Although no weapons were seen or threatened during the incidents, Hartford Police ask the public to use caution and not approach Young, but to contact Detective John Koch of the HPD's Major Crimes Division at 527-6300, extension 5266.  One of Young's victims was an 84 year old female who suffered injuries as a result of the incident.

Hartford Police have obtained two arrest warrants for Young, issued by Hartford Superior Court with a Judge set bond of $75,000 and $150,000.   

Anyone with information about Young's whereabouts is asked to contact the Hartford Police Department.
