HARTFORD POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS TO COMMEMORATE 5TH ANNIVERSARY OF 911.

(Hartford) - The Hartford Police and Fire Departments will commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the 911 attack on the United States on Monday, September 11, 2006, with the following events:

9:30 a.m.   Old State House, Hartford.  Hartford Fire Chief Charles Teale will host a ceremony in
                  which the names of all Fire and Law Enforcement personnel who lost their lives on 911 will be
                  read aloud.

3:00 p.m.   Burr McManus Mall, Hartford.  Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts will host a
                  ceremony honoring Hartford Police personnel who are currently or have served on active
                  military duty.
