Hartford Police release
identity of motor vehicle fatality.
(Hartford) -
On September 13, 2003 at 3:29
p.m. Hartford Police responded to an accident in Keney Park by the Pond
House. Responding Officers found an all terrain vehicle had struck a
tree. The operator was found a short distance away and was given medical
assistance. The operator, later identified as Frank L. Kimber, 34 years
old, of Hartford, was transported to Saint Francis Hospital where he was
pronounced dead.
The Hartford
Police Department's Crime Scene Division, Fatal Accident Unit assumed the
investigation. Preliminary investigation revealed that Kimber was
traveling North on a paved section of road in Keney Park by the Pond House
when he struck a tree. Speed and reckless operation were found to be
factors in the collision.
