Hartford Police Offer Reward in Cold Case.


(Hartford) - On January 14, 1977, Therea Wilson, age 26, was found slain in the basement garage of the then Statler Hilton Hotel located at 10 Ford Street in Hartford.  Investigation showed that Ms. Wilson was the victim of a brutal stabbing with more than thirty stab wounds throughout her body.

Recently, the Hartford Police Department made a request to the Chief State's Attorney's Office that reward money be allocated for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this crime. 

Honorable Governor M. Jodi Rell has reviewed approved the request for an offer of a reward in the Wilson case not to exceed $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the death of Ms. Wilson.
