ELEVEN MONTH OLD BABY DIES

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have confirmed that a Greenfield Street baby passed away today.  Hartford police said the child, an eleven month old infant, was pronounced deceased by doctors at St. Francis Hospital sometime earlier this afternoon, possibly from respiratory distress.

At this point in the investigation police detectives do not suspect foul play with respect to the infant's death.

The name of the deceased and family are being withheld at this time pending notification of all family members.
