HARTFORD POLICE TRAFFIC ALERT
For Immediate Release:  Thursday, November 15, 2007

FARMINGTON AVENUE, BETWEEN SIGOURNEY
AND SISSON AVENUE, CLOSED DUE TO WATER MAIN BREAK.

(Hartford) - Hartford Police have closed Farmington Avenue, in both directions, between Sigourney Street and Sisson Avenue, to through traffic until further notice.  The area has been closed to due to a major water main break. 

Police are encouraging rush hour commuters and local traffic to avoid the area.  The roadway will remain closed until such time as repairs are completed.
