Hartford Police Looking for Suspect in an August 4, 2007 Assault

(Hartford) - Since August 4, 2007, detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have been investigating the assault of a female in the vicinity of 1 Weston Street in Hartford. 

The victim, who had just exited the Dodge Music Theater, observed a verbal argument between two males, one of which she recognized as a friend.  In an attempt to assist her friend the unknown suspect struck the female in the left side of her face with a closed fist.  The assaulted female was seriously injured and sustained facial trauma which included broken bones. 

The suspect fled the scene, and although was chased by several witnesses, eluded capture.  The unknown assailant is described as a white male, 6', 200 lbs, 20-22 years of age, with dark short hair, a light complexion, and was last seen wearing a white tee shirt.
