HARTFORD POLICE RELEASE
NAME OF HOMICIDE VICTIM

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have confirmed the identity of the September 3, 2007, homicide victim as Kirk Taylor, 48, of Hartford.

Hartford Police responded to a report of shots fired in the vicinity of 396 Sigourney Street on Monday, September 3, 2007, at approximately 2:50 a.m.  On arrival they located a black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  The victim was immediately transported to Saint Francis Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
