(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have released photos taken by surveillance cameras of a suspect who robbed the Citizens Bank at 190 Trumbull Street yesterday afternoon, Thursday, September 6, 2007.

At approximately 3:40 p.m., police responded to Citizens Bank on Trumbull Street of an activated robbery alarm.  On arrival bank employees informed police that an unknown male had entered the ban, requested money, and then walked out of the business with an unknown amount of currency, fleeing in an unknown direction.  The suspect, in the attached surveillance photos, is described as a white male, 5'3" to 5'6", 150 lbs, between the 20 and 30 years of age. Hartford police are also looking for a black Cherokee SUV with Massachusetts Plates, thought to may have been the escape vehicle.
