CITY OFFICIAL CHARGED WITH BREACH OF PEACE AND ASSAULT

(Hartford) - At approximately 4:00 p.m., Hartford Police charged Clarence Corbin, 48, of Branford Street, Hartford, with breach of peace second degree and assault third degree in connection with a domestic incident that occurred on January 8th, 2008, in the vicinity of 57 Kenyon Street, Hartford.

Corbin, who turned himself in this afternoon at Hartford Police Headquarters where he was booked, was released on a $2,500 bond pending arraignment in Hartford Superior Court.

Clarence Corbin is Director of the Department of Public Works for the City of Hartford.
