ARREST WARRANT OBTAINED IN
"COLD CASE" HOMICIDE

(Hartford) - Hartford Police Detective Michael Sheldon, Wethersfield Police Detective Robert DeRoehn and the Chief State’s Attorney Cold Case Unit conducted a joint investigation into the January 26, 2003 murder of Menelik Anderson. After a lengthy investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Conrod Davy charging him with Manslaughter First with a Firearm, Tampering with Evidence and Carrying a Pistol without a Permit. Davy is currently incarcerated serving a six-year sentence for Robbery.  

The Cold Case Unit in the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney was established in 1998 to investigate homicides and other serious crimes that have gone unsolved for an extended period of time. It currently includes Inspectors from the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney, the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections, Bloomfield Police Department, Farmington Police Department, Hartford Police Department, Wethersfield Police Department and Windsor Police Department.
