ANN STREET, BETWEEN ASYLUM AND ALLYN STREETS CLOSED DUE TO OBAMA RALLY
 AT HARTFORD CIVIC CENTER

(Hartford) - The Hartford Police Department Traffic Division has closed Ann Street, between Asylum and Allyn Street, to all traffic, in preparation for the visit by Presidential candidate Barack Obama at the Hartford Civic Center, scheduled for 5:30 p.m.  The Civic Center doors will open to the public at 3:30 p.m.

Hartford Police and the Hartford Parking Authority are encouraging the public to utilize garage parking as all on street parking will be prohibited in the vicinity of the Civic Center.  Anyone currently parked on streets  surrounding the Hartford Civic Center should move their vehicles immediately to avoid towing.
