HPD TRAFFIC ALERT:  Road Closures

(Hartford) - As a result of the continuing investigation by Connecticut State Police into a shooting and motor vehicle accident today in the Russ and Broad Street area of the City of Hartford, commuters should expect traffic delays during this afternoon's rush hour due to the following road closings:

Broad Street, between Capitol Avenue and Grand Street
and
Russ Street, between Lawrence and Hungerford Streets

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes of Park Street, Washington Street or Capitol Avenue to avoid the area.
