HARTFORD POLICE RELEASE NAME
OF HOMICIDE VICTIM

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division are investigating  the fatal shooting of a Rockville that occurred last night on Vine Street in Hartford.  The victim, Guillermo Malave, 22, of 127 Prospect Street, Rockville, Connecticut, was found at approximately 10:20 p.m. by Hartford Police in the vicinity of 42-44 Vine Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  EMS personnel arrived on scene and immediately transported Malave to St. Francis Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 10:44 p.m.

Police are looking for a suspect described as a Black Male, 5'10" tall with a stocky build and dark clothing and a dark colored four door Honda.
