HARTFORD POLICE RELEASE IDENTITY
OF HUNTINGTON STREET HOMICIDE VICTIM

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division today released the identity of the victim of a fatal shooting on March 26, 2008, at 28 Huntington Street, Hartford, as Peter D. Blake, 34, of that same address. 

Hartford Police were dispatched to 28 Huntington Street at approximately 1:18 a.m., on March 26th, on a report of shots fired.  On arrival officers located Blake suffering from a gunshot wound in the first floor hallway.  EMS personnel arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased at 1:31 a.m.

A suspect is described as a Black Male, 5'8" to 6' tall, slender build, wearing a black leather jacket and black hoody, blue jeans and white sneakers.
