FUGITIVE TASK FORCE CAPTURES
Detectives of the HPD's Major Crimes Division had secured an arrest warrant for Manson on April 1st, charging him with the March 21st murder of Tracenton Cook, 16, of Manchester, that occurred at the intersection of Main and Gold Streets in Hartford. Manson, described as an eighteen year old Black male, 5'9", 140 lbs, with brown eyes, medium complexion and black braids, with tattoos on his right arm, is being held on a $1 million bond pending arraignment in Hartford Superior Court. "I wish to express my tremendous appreciation to the members of the Hartford Fugitive Task Force, detectives of the HPD's Major Crimes and Intelligence Divisions, the Hartford Office of Probation, the Manchester Police Department, and all those involved in this investigation for their unrelenting pursuit of information that ultimately led to the quick capture of Manson. It is this type of excellent police that gains the confidence of the public we serve and protect, and sends a strong message to those who commit acts of violence that they will be caught and brought to justice," said Hartford Police Chief Daryl K.
