HARTFORD POLICE IDENTIFY HOMICIDE VICTIM AS KENNY SULLIVAN

(Hartford) - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have confirmed the identity of the victim of a June 26th, 2008, fatal shooting as Kenney Sullivan, 21, of Garden Street, Hartford.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 26th, officers responded to a report of a person suffering from a gunshot wound.  The victim, Kenney Sullivan, was located in the vicinity of Pleasant and Windsor Streets and transported immediately to Hartford Hospital.  After several hours of surgery he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased at 5:24 a.m.
