ESCAPEE  FROM PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL
MAY BE IN HARTFORD AREA

(Hartford) -
Hartford Police are on the lookout for an escapee from a Brooklyn, New York, medical facility who has ties to the Hartford area.

Hartford Police were informed by officials of the Interface Medical Institute in Brooklyn, New York, that John Murray, NCA, of Hartford, DOB 7/6/1963, had escaped from their facility.   Murray was apparently committed to the Institute by New York authorities, however, he has a history in Hartford where he worked as a handyman in 2006 and 2007.  Medical authorities believe Murray to be a danger to himself and others.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of John Murray , described as a 45 year old Black male,  5'10", 200 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair, is asked to contact the Hartford Police Department Major Crimes Division Supervisors Sergeant Rob Davis at 860-757-4256 or Ed Yergeau at 860-757-4257.
