Hartford Police Make Arrest in April 5th, 2008 Stabbing

(Hartford) -  Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have charged Jose Hernandez, 33, of 33 Bonner Street, with criminal attempted murder in connection with an April 5th stabbing incident that occurred at 51 Stafford Street, Hartford.

On April 5th officers responded to a report of a wounded man at 51 Stafford Street.  On arrival the victim was located in the foyer of the building suffering from numerous stab sounds.  The victim, a West Hartford man, was treated for non-life threatening stab wounds. 

Hernandez, who was also charged by police with assault first degree, and robbery first degree, remains in custody on $500,000 bond.
