CRIMES (274637) enter TIP716 and message NEWS RELEASE Hartford Police Girls Soccer League Final Games and Award Ceremony to be held today at Columbus Park, Franklin Avenue, Hartford
In it's fifth season, the soccer, made up of 65 third and fourth grade girls from Milner and Naylor Schools, is comprised of our teams: The Pink Panthers; The Red Flames; The Blue Ice and The Green Thunder. The is funded through grants from the Connecticut Juvenile Justice Education Center, City of Hartford, and the U.S. Department of Justice's Hartford Weed and Seed Program. There will be two 20 minutes games beginning at 3:30 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony at approximately 4:15 p.m. at the Metzner Community Center located in Columbus Park. Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts is schedule to present trophies during the awards ceremony. The public and media are welcome.
