Hartford Police Academy to Graduate 32 New Police Officers

(Hartford) -  On Friday, December 12, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., in the auditorium of The Aetna, 151 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, the Hartford Police Academy will graduate 32 new police officers.  The 32 member class, made up of 28 new Hartford police officers and 4 others trained for cities of Torrington and New Britain, have been in training since this past summer.

Hosted by Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts, event speakers include Hartford Mayor Eddie A. Perez, Hartford City Council President Calixto Torres and State of Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal.

Invited guests include Hartford State's Attorney Gail Hardy, Connecticut State Police Colonel Thomas Davoren, State Capitol Chief of Police Michael Fallon, and chiefs of police from the cities and towns of Torrington, Simsbury, New Britain, East Hampton.
