Hartford Police Department's Truancy
Reduction Program to hold Orientation


(Hartford) - On Wednesday, January 16, 2008, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Hartford Police Department's Truancy Reduction Program, funded under a grant from The Travelers, will host an orientation for approximately 70 students between the ages of five to twelve years of age and their families.  The event will be held at the Joe Young Studio located at 942 Main Street, Hartford, and will include a brief orientation of the Truancy Reduction program, dinner with the students and their families, and a tour of the Joe Young Studio, a partner in the Truancy Reduction initiative.

The media is welcome to attend the event and tour of the studio with students and their families.
