Hartford - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have confirmed the identity of the July 18th, 2009, Enfield Street homicide victim as William T. Davis, 27, of 43 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut.

On July 18th, 2009, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of 47 Enfield Street on a report of a party shot.  On arrival police officers located a Black male suffering from gun shot wounds.  EMS personnel transported the victim, William T. Davis, to Saint Francis Hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 1:13 p.m.
