File a Compliment

The Hartford Police Department (HPD) is dedicated to providing the higest quality police services to residents of, and visitors to, Hartford, CT. In addition to providing citizens a specific protocol to file complaints against HPD employees, we encourage the filing of compliments to recognize specific instances when HPD employees have contributed to the public good.

Complimentary letters are:

• Reviewed by the employee's first-line supervisor
• Forwarded to the employee
• Placed in the employee's personal file and forwarded for possible inclusion in the Department's internal newsletter.
