Officials warn parents and teens that enforcement is being ratcheted up for the 2013 summer season, including the Luke Bryan concert tonight. Underage patrons that are in possession of an open container of alcohol will be issued a Hartford Community Court Summons for violating the City of Hartford's Public Drinking Ordinance. "This applies to anyone under the age of 21," said Hartford Police Chief James C. Rovella. "Our goal is to create a safe environment for all concert goers while deterring the extensive underage drinking that occurs in and around the concert venue."
"An alert Hartford patrolman responding to a complaint involving threatening with a firearm has led to six arrests, inluding one juvenile, and the seizure of three loaded handguns," reported Hartford Shooting Task Force Supervisor Sergeant Sean Spell. View booking photos and handguns seized.
