Arrest June 22, 2005

On June 22, 2015 Detectives from the Hartford Police Department Vice and Narcotics unit executed a search warrant at 67 Oakland Terrace. Detectives were able to obtain information that there were two individuals storing firearms and selling illegal narcotics. A search of the apartment interior revealed a firearm, marijuana, crack cocaine, and packaging material. During the course of the investigation, detectives obtained information that drugs and firearms were being stored in the rear yard in vehicles. A search of the outside of the residence produced another firearm and marijuana.

Arrested: Ricky Hurt 32 of 67 Oakland Terrace
1. Criminal possession of firearm
2. Carrying pistol without permit
3. Weapons in a motor vehicle
4. Interfering with police

Arrested: Tyrell Kelley 26 of 67 Oakland Terrace
1. P.W.I.T.S narcotics
2. P.W.I.T.S narcotics 1500 feet of school
3. Possession of narcotics

Evidence: Black M-1911 auto loading pistol .45 caliber obliterated serial number
Evidence: Black Star-SA 9mm firearm
Evidence: 11 grams of crack cocaine, 3 ounces of marijuana

DUI Checkpoint June 18, 2015

From the Hartford Police Department Traffic Division Thursday, June 18, 2015


(Hartford, CT.) – The Hartford Police Department Traffic Division will conduct a DUI Enforcement Checkpoint on Friday, June 19, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., in the area of 90 Brainard Road.

This checkpoint is part of the Hartford Police Department's ongoing expanded DUI enforcement program supervised by the HPD's Traffic Division and funded through a grant from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation DUI Enforcement Program.
