On July 19, 2015, at approximately 1:46am the Hartford Police Department Patrol Officers and the Shooting Task Force responded to Club Vibz 3155 Main Street on the report of shots fired and a person shot. Upon arrival, a female victim was located in the parking lot suffering from a single Non-Life Threatening Gun Shot Wound to her right breast. She was identified as Niyah Young, 21, of Hartford. A short time later a second victim arrived at Saint Francis Hospital via private vehicle. He was identified as Jason Dakers, 33, of Hartford. Dakers was suffering from multiple gun shot wounds to his torso and and multiple GSWs to his limbs. Dakers was taken into emergency surgery where he remained. His condition was last listed as critical but stable. Preliminary reports revealed that an altercation started inside Club Vibz and poured out into the crowded parking lot where an unidentified suspect pulled out a handgun and started shooting at Dakers and accidentally hit Ms. Young. Detectives from the Major Crimes, STF and Crime Scene Division are currently investigating the incident.

On Saturday, July 18, 2015, at approximately 7:51pm, Hartford Police Department Patrol Officers were in the immediate area of 2006 Main Street when they heard gunshots from inside that location. Upon tactical approach to the building, they encountered a victim who stated that he had been shot. The victim, identified as Tequan Vail, 25, of Windsor CT, remained outside as the officers entered the building looking for the active shooter. The victim was transported via private vehicle to St. Francis Hospital. Despite police efforts the suspect was not located. Detectives from the HPD Major Crimes Division responded to the scene to assist. The victim sustained multiple gunshots wounds and was listed as being in stable condition and St. Francis medical staff indicated that his injuries were none-life threatening at that time. The Shooting Task Force is continuing the investigation.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, Hartford Police Department Patrol Officers were dispatched to 53 Elmer St. HTFD on a 911 report of an injured child. Arriving Officers determined the parents had already left the address to deliver the child to the Hospital. On the way to the hospital, the parents encountered EMS personnel. The child was immediately transported to CT Children's by EMS. HPD Detectives from the Special Investigative Division as well as the Major Crimes Division initiated an investigation.
The one year old victim, Antonio Armando Delgado, Jr, Born July 10, 2014, was listed as critical with severe injury due to lack of oxygen. The child's parents, Antonio Armando Delgado, Sr, 33 of Hartford and Tamara Lee Santana, 27 of Hartford, have been in contact with investigators. Initial details provided by the parents as well as the child's injuries are both consistent with the child drowning in the bathtub.
The juvenile was removed from life support July 18, 2015, and died before 11:00 am.
An autopsy is scheduled for the juvenile victim to be performed at the State of Connecticut, Office of Chief Medical Examiner. The investigation is ongoing.
