City of Hartford to Distribute Water at Community Pools this Weekend

(June 29, 2012) --- As temperatures are expected to reach the low- to mid-90's this weekend, the Department of Families, Children, Youth & Recreation, in conjunction with the Hartford Fire Department and Health & Human Services, will be distributing bottled water at the 4 community pools this weekend (both Saturday and Sunday)

As a reminder, the pools will be open from 9:00AM until 5:00PM both days, with open swim from 12 Noon till 5:00PM (for those that meet minimum height requirements as set for by the State of Connecticut and all swimmers must have a proper bathing suit and towel).

• Colt Park Pool (36 inch height requirement)
• Goodwin Park Pool (50 inch height requirement)
• Keney Park Pool (36 inch height requirement)
• Pope Park Pool (36 inch height requirement)
