(November 8, 2013) This Saturday, November 9, Launch Trampoline Park will open its doors at 10:00am on Brainard Road. The 25,000 square foot facility will have 150 trampolines, an area for special events, a café, and an observation mezzanine for parents to watch their children-at-play. This is the second trampoline park for Former New England Patriot Ty Law who is a majority owner, and his partner Rob Arnold.
“I honestly couldn’t believe the level of care we received. I have never had a project welcomed to a city this way,” said Rob Arnold. “I really appreciated the quick approval and great communication.”
In addition, Downtown’s DISH restaurant will expand its business this month by launching a sister location across the street. Sorella will be casual Italian focusing on handmade pasta and Neapolitan wood fired pizza. The soft launch is on Monday, November 11. Gary Wolfradt, of Dish Restaurant Group said, “We’re extremely excited to roll out our newest concept in Downtown and look forward to opening our roof top patio at Dish in the spring.”
Recently the City streamlined its permitting process and significantly expedited the turnaround time for review and approvals for completed applications. In addition, several new developments are slated for Downtown’s Front Street including two new restaurants opening by early 2014, as well as new housing.
“I congratulate these businesses for their investment in Hartford,” said Mayor Segarra. “I look forward to seeing their success for years to come.”
