(February 5) As of 10pm tonight, the City of Hartford's snow emergency Parking Ban has ended. As made clear in the press release announcing the snow emergency, all residents parking in Hartford Public School lots during the parking ban must remove their cars from the lots immediately following the ban's conclusion.
As of 10pm, hundreds of resident vehicles remain in public school parking lots. These lots must be cleared and plowed for the opening of school in the morning. Vehicles remaining overnight are subject to ticketing and towing for trespassing, which carries the same fine and towing fee as a snow emergency violation. Towing will begin on the school lots at 11pm tonight.
